I have hunted it before and yes it's a huge area. So damn big you don't know where to start.

Jchief,

I have a bow and crossbow. Can you use a crossbow up there?

Dan

Yeah I rode a trail on my four wheeler for 15 miles one way and marked 20 spots on gps. The ridges between the lakes looked very promising.

The man who killed the deer is from Starks. Last name is McCloud. He is well known for bagging big bucks up there! His wife teaches at Vinton High.

Awesome deer. Huge deer come out of that place every single year yet the number 1 gripe they hear are 'we need antler restrictions'
