I pick my tomatoes before they turn completely red. The stinkbugs seem to find them pretty quickly once they turn red. I just let them ripen on my window sill. I spray the plants after I pick the tomatoes with an organic spray. Really works well. After I had planted the garden, I spread a bale of hay to cover the entire garden. This really helps to prevent disease from when the rain is heavy and splatters up from the dirt. Hope some of this helps.
