Default Marsh Island, Worm Cove 8/9/15

We hit the falling tide at the Worm Cove at noon and fished til 4. Boated 1 red and lost a nice black drum. They ate cracked crab but nothing wanted fresh shrimp or artificial. There was not much of a crowd today. The redfish run at the Worm may be done for this year.
We looked for flounder on the east side of Marsh Island on the way in. No flounder, but we boated 2 nice reds on Chartreuse Gulp Swimming Mullets. they didn't want anything else that we threw. You could see the reds patrolling the bank all evening.
It was forecast to be 100 degrees this afternoon, but the wind kept things cool.
Great afternoon on the Island.
