Default shiners and crickets

Is parkside the only place around lake Charles to get shiners?and is ther a place other than Petsmart or petco to get crickets?

I went into the general store on highway 171 in north Lake Charles a while back and was surprised to see shiners in the back of the store. I think the name of the store is Old Town General Store. As for crickets, if you are willing to spend a little time, they are very easy to raise. I searched the Internet and followed the directions and raised more than I could use one summer. Most of the items needed can be found around the house with a couple of exceptions.

Well looks like monday ill be at the tacklebox. I wouldnt mind raising crickets but I dont think im gonna be doing enough freshwater fishing to really make it worth it.

That map is showing you the saltwater side of the barrier... those two cuts are marsh cuts. Entergy is located near there. White oak is further east near Lebleu Settlement.
