Have you looked into one of the DIY kits? I bought one for my fall bird from last year and it is fairly easy to do.

Last spring I took my first bird and decided to have a full mount done. I dropped it off in early May and it still isn't done. It seems that taxidermist like to take their sweet time and when the deer get dropped off in the fall, they take precedence over anything else in the shop.

Always nice to see a man taking time out with his son to make some memories. Nice bird.

taught about doing it myself but did not want to take a chance of messing up his first bird, maybe the next one I will try.
