Default Atchafalaya Rut Report

How is the rut looking around the Atchafalaya basin area? Anyone got any updates? Thinking of heading that way this weekend... Thanks!

Normally later in season but a buddy's boss had some bucks chasing this past weekend. Second hand story was a doe came out then a buck following. Shot buck then when getting ready to climb down another doe came out with a really nice buck following.

This was near WBay.

There are good ones in there but they are very hard to hunt thanks to hunting pressure.
