Default My son got picked for duck hunt and deer hunt!!

Received 2 envelopes in the mail today from ldwf with my sons name on them and knew exactly what they were, deer hunt is at south farm and will be hunting in a box stand on a big food plot and I already know it's full of deer there. The duck hunt is at white lake near gueydan but not sure about there, does anyone know if it's some good duck hunting there?

Thanks, I used to duck a lot but he has never went on a duck hunt, he's pretty good a shooting skeet so I think he will knock a few down.

ditto ditto ditto. White Lake is an incredible adventure, one of the jewels of this state. My son and I got picked for opening day of teal season last weekend and were done by 710am.
The lodge, the 50yr old mudboats, the camaraderie is like nothing you've experienced.
FYI Drop your ducks off at Missie's in Gueydan, eat breakfast at Cormier's Cajun Kitchen on Main st then pick up your ducks and head home!

I have hunted WLCA every year since lottery hunts were started there and in all the hunts I've been on in the marsh, I have never not limited out. It is a beautiful freshwater marsh and not overhunted. you might even see a Whooping Crane!
The group hunts are $30K for 12 and sell out every year.
