Default 6-10-11. Cow Island

A pic from today, 20 sac a lait , 20 bream. the bite did not last to long, fished from to 7:00 to 10:00 this morning, caught on tube jigs 3-4 ft under a cork, going back in the am.

Great catch @ Cow Island. I guess there is no problem getting in there with the high water.

I did not hear that the Basin waters had opened back up.

Nothing better than some fresh fried sacalait,man das good! How does the water look in there? Hopefully the high water will kill some of the grass. It was almost impossible to fish it was getting so bad.

no problem getting in, the river is still high,i counted 43 boats out there this morning, i hate to see how many are going to be there in the morning

The water is very clear and grass is still there but not as bad.

Did you fish the pipeline cut? I used to catch some big slabs in there.

Just wondering..... is the water low enough so that there is land around the lake now. When the river was at 23'.... was all land under water?

Just for the record..... I think that lake has always had lots of grass. Have not fished Cow Island in 20+ years.
