Default Toledo Bend 9/2 & 9/3

Well me 1FastMerc and another buddy headed to the lake, or whats left of it to look for some fish and try to find some new areas to try out. We started out in the Mill creek area fishing creek bottoms and grass lines but never could find many fish so we decided to head back south and try some areas around Indian Creek and Buck Creek and picked up some fish around some points and drop offs but never could really get on the fish so we called it a day and went to regroup for the next day. Saturday we hit the water with top water and spinner baits and picked up a few more but decided to brave the storm and head back to Indian Creek to try some spots and ended up with a few more fish and even got in the middle of them schooling but no mater what we threw we never could really get them to bite so around 10am and freezing from the rain we headed in to warm up and dry out for the trip home. I will post pics of our catch in a bit.

I'll admit it was me that was freezing. I forgot my rain suit and was drenched and miserable. Luckily Weedwacker felt sorry for me and suggested we go in. We was catching a few fish but not enough to make forget how cold I was. That was one time the spray from the boat felt good. All in all had a good time caught a few fish and had a bunch of laughs.
