Default BL June 4, 5, 6

Saturday started a little foggy. I eased to my first spot and the bite was good enough to keep me from leaving. Took me till about noon to get 15. Every time I was about ready to bounce, I'd catch another. Couple flounder and a red. Muddy water, didn't matter.

Sunday was totally different. A storm came through Saturday afternoon and wrecked my muddy water spot. There's muddy water and then there's, holy cow that's muddy, muddy water. So I spent Sunday running that entire lake looking for some fished stacked up. After catching an average of about one on each spot, I finally hit a spot that had a few stacked. They were some chunks too. So, thanks to a tip from a good padna, who put me on these fish, I was able to finish my limit.

Monday, I couldn't buy a keeper trout for six hours. Plenty of dinks to be had on birds but that loses its appeal quickly. At noon, I had one trout in the box. It was either hang it up of get creative. I tried some new spots that I've been wanting to try. Three of the four places I went to, held fish. No limit today. Finished with ten. Some solid ones mixed in with some lil ones too.

That's 3 good reports. You put in the time but received a nice box of fish every trip.

Thanks. I put the wrong pic for Saturday. That one was from a couple weeks ago. After a while all those dead fish look the same. Lol. Here was Saturday's box.

Excellent report. I've been in that position (one fish in the box at noon, or worse) so many times. Awesome to hear of someone that was there, then made something happen.
Thanks for taking time to post.

I'm headed to BL Friday, sat and Sunday. Haven't been in over 2 years. I assume the fish are being caught on the south end of the lake with all the run off. working birds just doesn't do anything for me. How does west cove look? Not asking for spots just trying to eliminate water.

Thanks

MW

Yesterday water was pretty muddy from mid lake north. West cove the water was, so/so. Good luck.
