Default Mirro Lure Rod

First off, Hello as I'm new. I live and fish in NC, mostly for specks and reds. I enjoy reading this site. Lots of good information.
My question is, I'm looking to get a new rod to specifically use to fish Mirrolure MR-17's. I can't decide between a 6'6" M or ML or 7' M or ML. I use a 6'6" St. Croix tidemaster for top water (spooks and such) but i think this might be a bit to stiff. Thoughts or ideas?

I fish the same rod for tops and suspending. 7' Med Duce rod with a fast tip.
