On Fri., we must have seen 30 or more guide boats from the Big Lake area.
Few passed us on the way to Johnson Bayou. Few went offshore.
The rest started at the first set of rocks and strung out to the West.

Yeh that wind kicked out the south yesterday afternoon and stayed pretty strong out south all night. And was coming WNW at daylight this morning when I looked. I was gonna go back this morning too but saw forecast. Tried telling some buddies to hold off till Sunday but they were already there yesterday evening. Haven't heard from them yet. I think tomorrow will be good cause wind supposed to come out N all afternoon and N tomorrow morning.

Calcasieu Lake-
Rest Of Today
Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.
Tonight
West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming north after Midnight. Lake waters a light chop decreasing to smooth after midnight.
Sunday
Northeast winds around 5 knots becoming east in the afternoon. Lake waters smooth.
Sunday Night
East winds around 5 knots becoming north after Midnight. Lake waters smooth.

Hard to trust these forecasts....don't know till you go.

Me and jedi hit lil fla this am...water was muddy and waves were big...nice sized rollers ccrashing on the rocks..made paddling fun today.

If there are no winds, or N winds all night, morning should be good.
But E, W or S winds, Ray is staying in bed.
Gonna go celebrate the Braquet's having a baby tonight.
May have the brown bottle flu tomorrow morning...
