Default VIDEO: GunDog Flush and Dummy topwaters in action...

Here's another video some of you guys may not have seen.

This video shows the walk-the-dog action of the full-size Dummy and Flush. We walked the baits at different speeds to show the different types of retrieves you could get out of each bait. You'll notice the Dummy has a hard side-to-side action, while the Flush has more of a smoother "S" type walk.

Make sure you watch it all the way through as there's a sound comparison of both baits at the end of the video.

YouTube - GunDog Tops in Action

All baits in this video are PROTOTYPES and don't represent the actual colors we'll be making these baits in. This video is strictly to give you an idea of what these baits look like on the water. Hopefully our next vid will feature a big ol' trout making one of these lures her lunch.

Heavy distortion pedal and wah.....

So what's the science with the "bubbles" on the baits? More splash and water displacement? Cool looking bait.

Our Hard Plastics are called the TTF Gun Dog Series

The names and designs are based on Gun Dog Terms that relate to fishing.

1. Gun Dog Flush Topwater....Gun Dogs Flush birds out for the hunter...Gun Dog Topwater Flush....Flush fish out for the fisherman...Trout also make Toilet Bowl Swirl like Flushing the Toilet.

2. Gun Dog Creeper....This bait is named for Gun Dogs that "Creep" towards the bird on their rear end as its falling to the ground...Dogs will creep/scoot on their rears waiting for the hunter to release them for the retrieve.....Gun Dog Creeper lure can be fished very slow or Creeped along during winter...but it has all other ways to rig and fish it...See the Video posted.

3. Gun Dog Dummy and Little Dummy Topwaters are designed lto resemble a Gun Dog Dummy/Bumper a trainer use to work his Gun Dogs...Gun Dog Topwater can be used to throw out in the water to retrieve fish.

The Bump also add sound and more water splash..

TTF also designed our Topwaters to roll over on its back while walking the dog....The Bumps make the Dummy's Top heavy which hellps to get the full roll effect....when the Hooks are exposed out of the water ...Hook up ratio goes way up!!!!!!

Both the Dummy's and Flush are designed to roll 180...check it out in videos.

Here's an old ad...some names have changed but gives you an idea abouT Gun Dog Baits

Thanks for asking

TTF

We'll have the Dummy for sale online in a few weeks...they'll hit store pegs in the Fall.

We put the Flush online a few weeks ago, but sold out(Several Thousand) in 11 hours. That took us by surprise, so we are restocking. They will be on store pegs late summer.

Thanks for the interest in TTF's Gun Dog Tops!!!!!

Here are a few pics from customers we received after doing the Flush pre-sale a while back. We had lots of positive reviews from folks.

The Dummy still hasn't made it into many people's hands, but should soon.
