Houston River 8/12
Got out a little after 9. Water was high and full of trash ( even though visibility was still pretty good). Started off for bass but couldn?t really find any in my usual spots.
 Just one small one on a brush hog. Hooked another later on with a crappie jig. There was a small group of schooling bass hanging around a bait ball. Found a few crappie though. Hit 3 different brush piles in 10-12 ft and picked up a few nice ones.        Nothing huge. Water was 85 degrees, and relatively clear. Lots of baitfish all over and mullet.
