I ordered 50 just to see if they sell. Seems like a mighty small bait for reds. The specs call for #6 hooks. What's a good color?

Would think a shad or gold would work. Let me know when you get some. I would like to try em

The body length is about 2 1/4" and it "weights" 3/16 oz. I've heard that redfish love 'em, but, I just can't imagine throwin' one of these at 'em. Hook size is rated at #6 and using larger hooks will surely kill the action of this lil guy. Running depth is 1-12" depending on speed of retreive. IMO, a Lucky Craft wake bait would be a more viable option for redfish. They only run 3" deep but it's a much larger bait with larger hooks.

Thanks. I had to have a bait that was big enough to try my epoxy eyes. I think they turned out just a hair too big....for most baits, anyway.

Ha, just noticed that, Jeff. I guess it would come in handy on crappy lookin' baits.....somethin' to steal the focus.

We used a bluish colored one, and trust me the reds love them. But then again I've caught a few reds on a Worm fishing the Lake DeCade area and the Bayou Noeuf area.

I'm havin' a bad day.
I sprayed the FINAL clearcoat on an order of baits for weedeater. Hung 'em outside to dry under clear blue skies while I went to the hardware store to get some lacquer thinner to clean my brush. Yep....you know it!!!!
