Default Vermilion bay

Headed to SW pass this morning the bay was rough and muddy. Water wasn't much better in the pass, hit the usual spots and caught a bunch of under sized reds. Headed to bird island and caught one keeper red on fresh shrimp right passed the game warden camp, first wier on the right. Left there and fished the cuts in shark bayou with no luck. Beats working though

We tried Lake Catherine and Bourne and caught a few reds, saw lots of tails in the water but wasn't interested in gold spoon, or top water, live shrimp and voodoo shrimp. Lots of boats just south of the train Bridge entering lake Bourne don't know what they were catching. Gonna try leeville next weekend,

We in grand isle this weekend. Really rough but managed to catch about twice our limit in 27”+ reds. Had to throw back about 10 huge reds and was able to keep 4.

Good Job Selout. I have a love/hate relationship with vermilion bay. But you are right, beats a day at work.

I stayed back today and installed a winch on one of our bikes for hunting season. Kept looking a the boat wishing i was on the water.
