Default Big Lake Grand Bayou Wier boat size

What size boat can you get through the boat lock at Grand Bayou on Big lake? I heard it 110 inches wide, but what about the height? Is it generally tall enough for a bay boat to drive through?

I have a 21ft Seapro CC and had to convert my windshield to fold down because I couldn't get in on a really high tide. I've never had an issue with the console itself and my boat sits pretty high. Sometimes it looks like the windshield won't clear when it will actually clear by a foot. You just have to ease in and eyeball it. Also, make sure you don't have rods in the console rod holders, even with a low tide.

If you head to the right after you get through the weir you're going to come to a pipe fence with a boat pass. If you try going through that pass make sure you split the gate perfectly and that your boat is dead perpendicular to the fence. If not your going to hit some structure that is below the water and is not kind to gelcoat.

I go through with a 24ft Skeeter and 10ft power pole. I have to lower my pole and fold down my wind shield grab bar.
