Default bad news
My step mom found out back in Nov. that she had a brain tumor and went straight to surgery to have it removed and found out it was cancer. Got the call at 6:30 this morning she has passed.

Thanks guys. We were told Monday 1 to 3 days and she left us at 4:30 this morning. I got to make 2 trips to Marksville this week to say good bye. No more suffering. She is at peace.

I lost my grandma to the same thing a few weeks ago. It's tough to deal with, I couldn't imagine this being my mom. My family will have your's in our thoughts and prayers though. It's tough.

Something that hit home with me many years ago was at a funeral when the pastor explained how mourning is completely natural yet, selfish. He went on to say that he envied any man who passed before him. The trials of life are now behind them and the eternal life of peace and harmony has now begun. All that is left behind is the loss that those who still live in the mortal life feel. Natural yet selfish.

We miss them. I know I miss my HEALTHY Grandma!
