We went out of Cameron. Ended up going 114 miles out. The gulf has really changed since last year. I bet they have removed 30+ platforms from vermilion to west Cameron. Some of my best spots are now out of sight. I?m glad I have the gps locations. The fish are still there.

I know what you mean removing them every day it seems. Are you running a World Cat? Some long runs to get to the good fishing out of Cameron but it pays off.

Yea it?s a WC TE330. We can be sitting at 100 miles offshore in 2 hours and 30 min on a good day with 1-2 ft seas. I made a fun earlier last week and the seas were 3-4 ft. Had to slow down because the crew didn?t like putting a 33? boat in the air. Lol
