Default NFL Free Zone

Have you ever heard of such a thing?
Like a guaranteed "NO NFL FOOTBALL" allowed or shown in this eatery.

That way one could enter and eat and guaranteed to not be offended.

The funny part of all of this is that the same people who are "offended" by players kneeling are the same ones that complain about everyone being so easily "offended" by anything in this country.

AND, they are becoming as bad as the "Hello, I'm a vegan" chick. Always announcing to the world that they aren't watching the NFL.

Didn't say you were, but interesting that you felt the need to respond to me.

I am offended, that the NFL allows this to continue.
People died, defending their right to disrespect the USA, while they get to play for a living, and make millions doing so.

Then to walk into an establishment and see the NFL blasted all over the walls.
Of course, when a person is close to one that did not make it home, it hits home a little closer.

My company sent me a sign to post in my office "Gun Free Zone"
I refused to display it.

It would be cool if eating establishments posted NFL Free Zones on the doors.

Yeah, people died defending their right to protest in whatever manner they see fit. And a lot of those guys don't have a problem with that. BECAUSE THEY FOUGHT FOR IT!! That's the beauty of this country that makes us different from other countries.

I think it's funny how a guy who refused to put up a sign that probably indicates Company policy has a problem with a company not disciplining players.

Keep being offended over something that has no affect on your life though.

Yeah, cause that's perfectly legal. Idiot.

You know what I meant. Don't try and spin it because you don't agree with it.

If the US Government would quit paying for phony patriotism, this wouldn't even be an issue.

You think these guys care to stand for it anyway? They do it because the league/teams are paid for the display.

Before they started paying the league, the teams often didn't even come out of the locker room. Think about it...how many college games do you go to where it's played after the team is on the field? I don't go to many where it is. It's always before.

I never have, because it's just crazy. Only way that is going to happen is if customers quit frequenting a particular establishment because they are showing NFL games.

I'll weigh in...

I don't have a problem with any of the protest.. If I did protest at my place of work.. Guess what.. I'd be disciplined, all the way up to being fired..

My problem with them is they are doing it at their place of work.. Go do it on your own time etc..

Again This is their place of work... Here's a novel idea.. The NFL commissioner could fine each team say 500K every game they do this.. Then give the money to some organization that feeds the poor, or hurricane relief etc.. Then let's see how fast they stay up...

He'd probably be replaced pretty quick if he did. I mean, Goodell works for the owners, does he not?

Agreed on the setting of the protest though. But, they are doing it because they have that stage.

This is what happens when athletes/actors are placed on a pedestal. They have been given that platform by us. And then people gripe when they try to use it for something they believe in.

Hell, I don't know. Ask them. Inequality, brotherhood, unity. Whatever it is, they are acting on it on a platform that we gave them. And now people are mad that they are doing it.

It's as dumb as a parent giving their kid everything he/she wants, and then getting mad when the kid is a spoiled brat.

WE created the monster! And now people are mad that the monster is misbehaving.

they are doing it because they can. The players run the league. Remember when they tried to roll out replacements during the strike years. That was an embarrassment and the owners know it. unlike u and your work place, they really cant be replaced, look at the makeup of the league.
