Default 17HMR

I just got a Marlin 17 HMR the other day with a 3X9X40 scope on it. It's gotta be one of the funniest lookin bullets I've ever seen but, ridiculously FAST! I'll try to snap a few shots of it later.

I got a helluva deal on it, I think. $300 with everything including ballistic rounds and spare clips. Stainless, bull barrel. I saw the same rifle at Academy with nothing on it for $329.

Now, I noticed when I went to buy more ammo for it, they have an HM2. It reminds me of a 22 LR, really. It does look kinda funny but I bet it still hauls a$$ even considering the size. This may not be news to most of you guys but, I don't much keep up with this kind of stuff too much.

Is the HM2 what they are offering or is it the full HMR? Either one would be fun, for sure.
