I have sea tow through my insurance, never had to use them.

I would think salty cajun would pick you up just as quick!

Okay just got off the phone with both compay.

Sea tow does have a boat in Grand isle and will not tow anything east of fouchon area.

BoatUS does not have anything down there but will find someone if the boat would to break down.

Sounds like a cell phone but do they have a coverage map.

For Terrebone Parish just call the Sheriff's Department (Water Patrol).

I think all of them stop insurance 20-25 miles offshore. Of course you would probably have trouble calling them beyond that point anyway unless you could get someone on vhf. There was a BoatUS boat parked in Fourchon Marina last summer but never saw anyone on it.
