Default Sorry report from Rollover bayou area

Went for a quick run to the first two weirs at Rollover bayou yesterday afternoon. Didn't catch but the water was moving hard out of the second weir. Tons of big gar cruising around and falling tide had the water moving. Dead shrimp produced nada in the short time I had, but did see some people catching on back side of first weir (6 pipes) up on bank. Might have to try that next time.

I'm still learning but sharing what I saw may at least help someone else more knowledgable than myself that was wondering!

Maybe I was too close to weirs or not using the right stuff. Caught a few tiny flat baitfish in net but those didn't seem to produce either. Redfish are smarter than I was yesterday I guess!
