Default bay boat looking for buddy boat

Looking for a buddy boat for snapper and whatever else when the weather is good. My boat is a 22ft bayboay single engine.

I don't know of any spots to catch legal size red snapper in state waters.

You talking about fishing in June or in the near future?

A friend of mind know a spot for snapper about 12 mile out from Joseph harbor.

both times i went into the gulf last year turned out to be interesting.

1st trip i didnt make it to the platforms.
2nd trip the forecast called for light southerly winds. made it and caught nothing but gafftops, the wind turned 15+ out of the east. that was a loooong bumpy ride back.

like a dummy, I cant wait to do it again though!

Where did you launch from?
How far out did you go?
What was the water depth?

We usually start fishing when we hit ~150' of water.
