Default South La. Spawn.

What you're predictions on the sacalait spawn. The water temp has been up for a few days and the moon is full. I have been catching fish with eggs but I'm fishing off the road in 5' canals. I haven't caught any with war paint yet. Just wandering what you're thoughts were and if someone with more experience than me will chime in on this.

Where I fish, last week I caught all males and a few females. This week mostly females. The males were getting in their spawning colors tho. I want to get out in some of the shallow spots and see if I can find some bedding. I caight one male on a bed today so im thinking if I have a greater area to fish I can find some. If not on the beds they will be staged up in brush close to bedding area. The cooler weather next week is going to throw them off tho.

I would bet there are some white perch spawning right now in some of the shallower lakes. The temps have been just right for them. Its all about water temps, they are ready to go when the water gets right

Matter of fact man I was at the 3 pipes earlier today. We scratched, I fished quite a few spots but nothing. I also still have that pontoon trailer waiting on you.
