Shot five this am hunted to 10:30 two guns. Didn't see much was lucky to kill what we did. Johnson bayou

I feel your pain ..... Hunted PI yesterday till 10am came out with 3 but coulda had better hunt with better shooting..... def cant let them pass bc they not coming back lol ... was encouraged by the amount of pintail I saw and worked but overall still way down this year.

Last 4-5 days we have busting that a z z at my lease SW Kaplan.

Mostly ducks with some specs. Pretty much can kill your limit of pins in no time. Even shooting several mallard each hunt.

Lease in PI has still been slow from what I am hearing.

Final weekend I stayed hunting in SW Kaplan. Shot 11 and 1 spec on SAT and 8 on SUN.

The other lease I am in at PI did get better. On SAT they shot 8 and SUN 14.

Made 2 trips this week with a buddy in the Basin. Mallards were thick. Made for a great ending to the worst duck season I?ve had in my life, probably.

PI did get better for us the last week. Had a great hunt the last Saturday of the season. My best hunt of the season out there.
