Default Redfish Time of Year

Every year at this time the speckled trout have spawned out for the last time and with the high temperatures are getting more difficult to pattern. No worries, the redfish are taking up their slack. With high water temperatures in the shallow ponds, many larger redfish take to the cooler deep water for shelter from the suffocating sun. They will be schooling thick from now until October when the temperatures begin to fall again. We should be experiencing the best redfishing action of the year in the next two months so let's get out there and get while the getting is good!
