Default 2014 Chevy/GMC

I know alot of you here arent favs of GM due to the whole bail out thing, but the new 2014's are some sexy trucks! If I hadnt just bought a house I would be all over one right now. Does anybody have one and have any reviews to share?

You can get them with a 4.3L Ecotec V6 or a 5.3L Ecotec V8. Not sure the specifics of these engines but I guess they are attempting to keep up with the ford ecoboost type.

With my 07 in the shop the past 3 weeks I'm thinking hard about it. It's nice not having a note to pay right now though! Did they come out with a new diesel also?

I love the interior. Body is just too blocked for me. I'm sure they will grow on me.

I like the gmc's better....just can't get used to the ugly steps in the bumper, makes them look cheap IMO.

Chevy headlights are not the best looking IMO but the GMC front end is FINE.

My dad has the new GMC with All Terrain package. It's pretty slick.

I'm at GmC dealership in Lafayette about to trade my f250 in on a brand new GMC 1/2 ton. Tired of my Ford being in the shop. Should save some money.
Advice:
Stay away from any new diesel pickup. They don't know w t f they are doing with them. Brought my F250 in for a humming noise they kept it for 5 days and said they had it fixed. Didn't go 50 miles started doing the same thing. Got 54,000 miles, that's the 4th time it's been in the shop.

Friend just bought a brand new Dodge Diesel. Having similar issues. Service light always on, DEF sensors, etc.
Not anymore though. Waiting for my Sierra to come out the wash.
