Default The Burns (South end below Grand Lake)

Has anyone fished the canals in the Burns south of Grand Lake yet? Don't really want to go all the way down there from Moss Bluff just to find dirty water.

All the canals I've run in are muddy water, identical to the water color in the Intracoastal.
And use caution while running in the hyacinth mats.
There's a thread in the "Fishing Reports" section regarding this.

Thanks! I may make a trip down there in a couple of weeks. Made it out to the front of the Burns yesterday afternoon. I kept 7, threw back 10, and lost 5 close to the boat. The wind kept me on the south side.
