Default Big Lake Sat/Sun/Mon

Boat's been in the shop. Finally got it back and got my monies worth this weekend.

Got on the water Saturday at around 2. Tide was just flipping from an outgoing to an incoming and the bite got better as the time went on. Limit by 5. Found some quality fish. Lil Jons. Salt and pepper was best.

Since the afternoon bite was so good, I did other stuff in the morning and went out at noon. Same spot, different tide, muddy-ish water. They were there and biting. That day, dark colors did better. Limit by 3:15.

Monday had a buddy jump in. My spot was not producing so we had to work. Jumped around all over picking up one here and one there. Took us till three but got our limit.

Seems like the fish are solidly in their summer pattern. At least that's what I saw. Didn't find a lot of really pretty water but lots of just good enough, water.

Here are the fish from sat and sun, before cleaning.

Haha! Yeah. He was the "hammer". I just take him along as a hired gun, to fill the box.
