a range of colors work well, just like anywhere else you have to get to know the conditions and what color they like with those conditions. We use anywhere from white to black, just have to know when to use each color. Best way to determine color is experimenting on your own. One color may work well for you while it may not work well for others too. Confidence in the color is probably one of the biggest factors honestly.

Glow w/chartreuse tail gulps work well, shrimp creole matrix shad work well also. Usually rig that with a red jig head.

Glow/Chartreuse is my #1, then purple/chartreuse tail, black/chartreuse tail and chicken on a chain. All the color plastic ya need for the bay. 1/4oz 90% of the time, 3/8oz the rest.

I like to use Shrimp Creole with a chart tail that is my go to plastic bait and have also have good luck with opening night and Chart with a red sparkel. I like the bayou chubs and matrix baits i find they have the best action.
