My brothers been having feathers in his hair for months

His stylist told me she's having trouble finding them too

got dat poptail featha' kickin' Tee!! Helps keep the hair outa ya eyes when hittin' dat puchin' machine!!!

as a fly f@g I can tell you that this is going to be a serious problem for a lot of the commercial tyers for freshwater. fortunately, for those that tote the long rod in the salt, we "usually" use feathers from a different part of the rooster. Not that anyone cares, just came out of hiding..

This is true, the hackles that are used as hair extensions are the long saddle hackles. Most saltwater fly tiers, such as myself use the shorter neck hackle
