Default Pecos River Fishing trip video

Its taken me a while to have time to get this video finished. But back in April, me and a couple buddies took on the 61 mile trip down the Pecos River. We took 6 days camping out on the river each night. It was much tougher than the Devils River 39 mile trip we did last year. Fishing was good, but no smallmouth. Here is the link to the video I made. Watch till the end, all the fishing is in the second half of the video. I will post some pics up as well. The place is pure beauty!

thanks guys. It was an awesome trip. It kicked our butts though. The last day we paddled 16 miles. We were whipped when we hit the pickup point

it was more beautiful and more remote. It was a tougher trip due to distance 61 miles compared to 39. The fishing was about the same except there were no smallmouth. I think I prefer the Pecos, but the way those smallmouth fight almost changes my mind

We didnt even try to bring beer. We tried to keep our weight down as much as possible. I brought rum and moonshine, but ran a little short towards the end

I brought a couple battery banks, they will charge your go pro like 10-15 times each. I had plenty of battery life. I tend to be over prepared

Well that's awesome man. Did you feel like u had enough time to fish or was it more of keeping a good traveling pace to make it to the finish?

We did the Devils last year and we kinda learned how and where to fish a river like this. So you skip alot of stuff that looks unproductive. We planned on fishing a good bit each day and worked that into our mileage/day plan. But I could have used an extra 2 days, there is so much good fishing its hard to fish it all thoroughly
