Default Tensas Buck
Killed this nice buck Friday in the rain on Davis Island. Started walking around 6 a.m. from the camp saw a lot of deer. They are chasing pretty good right now. Passed on a lot of smaller bucks and killed this one around noon laying with 3 does in the middle of a cut over. Included a rub i snapped a pic of. It was impressive.

Guess score and weight.. I will update the thread tomorrow with wt and score.

Nice buck.. My dad and my buddy were hunting on the refuge Saturday and my buddy missed a good 8 pt with his bow.. Is that a refuge buck of private property?

Congrats, Awesome deer ! A buddy of mine was member of kellogg hunting club on davis island for a long time. They killed so monster deer out there!

Deer weighed in at 220#
gross score was 141"
Had a 5" deduction so 136"
Had 24.5" main beams

Thanks guy's going this weekend to try and get lucky again. Hope they are still chasing.
