Default Batteries

I currently have a marine deep cycle battery on my Yamaha 50hp. It needs replacing. I need to know if I should replace it with a similar battery or a starting battery. If I replace it with a starting battery, can I charge it with the battery charger on my boat if it gets weak?

Yes you can charge it with a battery charger. If all you use it for is starting the motor and lights, then a starting battery will serve you better.
