No guys, it's not alright. I took gosssip and restated it as fact, and claim to be a "Christian". I took malicious gossip and used it as a weapon to try and harm Tim Scott and his business, that's not alright anywhere on God's green earth. And the whole time, I knew I could call Tim and get the truth from him. Now I understand why most folks call "Christians" hypocrits. I am sick about this. I didn't sleep last night, did a lot of soul searching and didn't like what I found. Tim is not a bad guy. I am just so ashamed of myself it makes me sick. I only hope Tim will forgive me.

I told you not to buy that aluminum foil!

Danny I'm not sure what things you've said that you find to be wrong. If it were not for you, then I would probably still be sitting here with a boat with welds broken. I appreciate everything you have done to help me with my situation and would hope that you do not regret helping me out. I don't personally think that you have said anything out of line towards anyone and from reading everyone's posts I believe you area a highly respected member on this forum and an outstanding guy. I again want to thank you and would hope that there's no regrets. Aaron.

This thread has turned really weird quick.
I'm glad we could possibly help you get your boat fixed a little bit faster.

I just spent the last 45mins on the phone with Tim from Edge. He is leaving out at 1 in the morning to bring my boat back. He explained the lack of communication between him and Lake Area and told me he worked on my boat all day Friday and it was going into paint this morning. He's gonna be down here first thing in the morning and wants to meet me in person when he delivers it. Thanks to everyone again for all the help.

That's good to hear. Hope your boat is right. Even with all of this drama I want to get an edge in the future.

Tim is back to building the straight bottom hulls. If you buy one, make sure to get a new model. He is going to look at mine to see if he can tweak it a little while he has it. Overall I'm very happy with the service i received after the ball was rolling. If you buy one and have any issues, just call him direct. Since I have had his cell number, I have never had to leave him a message. He always answers. I think he is honestly trying to please everyone but he's stretched thin due to Edge being a small company.

Tim is a better person than I portrayed him to be. He built me the fastest boat I have ever owned, has done everyting I ever asked him to. All I can say is not to judge someone by what someone else tells you, all that leads to is apologies and regrets.

I ran off at the mouth before I knew ALL the facts. Tough pill to swallow.

I would like to get one next spring. Hopefully I'll have the money and no unexpected surprises turn up.

Seen one going down common st earlier. Looked like a cigar. They dont seem to have a wide beam. Looked like the sides went straight up instead of angled out

they're designed like that to get through tight timber.

Got my boat back this morning. Tim did an excellent job on the repairs. Got to spend a few minutes with him before he had to leave. He really is a great guy. He even went over some other welds that werent to pretty and made sure every one was done correctly. I must say it was a great job on the repair. He talked about a new boat model that he should be finished with next week. Its a 15 1/2 x 53. He said he is putting a very hot merc on it (80hp) and expects speeds in the 60's. It may be something to look at if anyone is in the market for a new hull.
