Default Matrix Shad

Finally got to try some if these things and I really like them BUT they don't seem to last long at all.

Any one else experience this?

I'm starting to use them more and more, they don't last forever but having a good jighead helps...sometimes I flip my bait on the hook after catching a fish to give it a little more hold.

might be your jigheads.. I use em and they last as long as most normal baits to me. If I can catch around 10 fish on a bait Im happy with it

Yea I've caught multiple trout on one bait so I see them as being the same as other baits. Sometimes fish tear your bait up sometimes you can use the same bait all day..

Baits with good action tear up...can't have both. Like a senko for bass fishing your lucky to catch 2 bass on one worm but they eat em like mad.

The only bait that seems to last are Bayou Chubs, but this past Friday even they weren't lasting worth a durn. May have been the fish though. They seemed especially frisky that day.

y'alll want a bait that last and catches fish try some DOA C.A.L. cocahoes. They have awesome action and last for a while. You can usually catch about 20 on one. I do use yellowmouth jigheads too so that helps
