Default Big Bass Splash- Lake Sam Rayburn 4/21-4/23

Uncle and I fished the big bass splash tournament at Sam Rayburn this pass weekend and had a blast. Didn't collect a check, but came close! Each day of the tournament, if you catch a 3.00, 4.00 or 5.00, you win $5,000. We'll I caught one that bounced back and forth from 2.97 then stuck 2.99 on our scale. Went weigh it in and it was a 3.03 on the official scale!!!! 3 hundredths of a pound off!!!! Bummer! And that was the biggest of the tournament that we caught. But caught plenty of fish on a lot of different baits.

A lot of big fish was brought in, many 7 and 8 pounders.

Uncle did end up catching some nice ones prefishing the week before I went meet him.

Looks like y'all had a blast. Are you going to fish the Toledo one in a few weeks?

I might, depends if my uncle found him another partner, I usually fish Sam Rayburn with him, and my cousin usually fishes Toledo with him.
