Default Dons Landing/ Vermillion Bay

Thinking about making a trip this week to dons landing in Erath and try and find some reds. I havent been in a while. Would I have a better chance launching from dons are the delcambre canal? Would white lake be a better choice?

Thanks for the help

I've heard reds are being caught at the mouth of the Delecambre canal and in Weeks bay. "BUT" you know how fast things can change in the Bay.

I'd launch out of Don's. More and better places to fish closer to Don's than making the run from Delcambre.
