I caught a few Saturday, but I had to run out in the gulf to find water that was fishable. Its pretty dirty everywhere right now. We are supposed to have north winds for the the next few days so it may clean up. It all depends what you are looking for, you can always catch redfish out there.

I would think again also. The salinity level at the Cypremort Point station is the lowest I've ever seen it since it was placed. I don't ever recall seeing levels below 0.5 PPT, which is where it is hovering now. That's Vermilion River levels.
Consider that trout need a minimum of about 3 PPT, redfish a little lower........
Hell this might be too fresh for mullet!

West Bay would be your best bet. salinity has been at 2.5 ish but dropped due to rain. it should be back up by the weekend.

went to the pass out of the point Sunday afternoon and water was dirty everywhere. Nothing but hardheads and gafftops in the pass though.
