Default Big Lake 8-15-10

So after a long debate this morning, we (my dad, Jackie and myself) decided to make a run to big lake. Started the morning off right by having a moron in a fish-n-ski bounce off my motor. Held my tongue and went on fishing. Pulled into turners bay and it looked like a parking lot of wal-mart on black friday.

Stayed well away from everyone. Fished the northern most part of turners with only (2) trout by which my dad caught using dead stank.

Let the wind push us and fished a few slicks here and there with only dinks and rat reds to show for.

Looked to the east and seen the water boiling. Made the run to all the mayhem and the water was literally bronze. Throw a glow/chart eel jr and the instant it hits the water, boom...fish on. Get him in the boat and my dad gets one on.... the red surfaces and there are about 20 more with him. I get Jackie a rod and she casts it by my dad's fish and she finally got to feel the wrath of a big lake red. Her face********

Had about 10 in the boat, but only 5 were over 16".

All in all, it was a hot S.O.B and we finished with 5 reds and 3 specks.

Winds were ~5mph
Water visibility was about 2-3'
Deep Green
Very SALTY !!!!!!

Bruce. I launched and parked in the boat slip and the ski boat launched and swung the back end around too fast and his stern bounced off the motor. I was livid.

True. But the fact of the matter is there are probably 2 women that are better than me... However there can always be nickles in the dozen.
So go suck a doorknob, cheddarbutt!
