Default suffix performance braid

I've been using power pro for years now and have never had a problem with it. I use 10lb and 20lb on my spinning reels. I recently bought some 30lb suffix braid for $4 at academy and loaded up one my baitcasts. But I still havent used it. Im looking at getting 300 yards of 65 or 50. Mainly just wondering how it holds up. Not wprried about casting just strength and abbrasion resistance

It's pretty good. If rather PP. But for 4$ hell yeah.

I think they messed up on the pricing. It was only 100 yards but it was regularly like $15. I might just buy the 300 yard of powerpro then

I bought a couple of spools of Suffix a couple of years ago. I like power pro better. It seems to cast better, tangle less, and be thinner for a given rated strength.

I have used Suffix but went back to power p. the Suffix was good but not worth the extra $ IMO.

I used just about all of em and my favorite is stren sonic braid. For that price for the suffix you can't beat it though.

I have fished with them all . . . even the green/white striped braid in the early years. Finally settled on FINS Windtamer - 30 lbs. test with relevant leader depending on species targeted. Flourocarbon leader for flounder and school specks...Big Game mono leader for large specks and redfish.

Luv the performance braid last a long time but color fades quick. I keep a green marker in my tackle box and color about 3 foot of the end of the line once it starts to fade.
