I'm thinking about trying around white oak Saturday. Any pointers ?

With all the rain we just got, there should be a lot of current. If you go, go up river past bayou serpent.

Thanks for the advice ! Trying to decide between Sabine and Calcasieu now. White Oak and Nibletts are about the same distance from me.

I went to Nibletts about a month back and the water was horrible... i suspect it will be just as bad with all the water and generators running from toledo bend. The water was pouring out of the tributaries that connect to TB.

At white oak if you launch and head down river between the houses runs a canal. At sunrise hit the mouth of thst canal with a eighth ounce buzz. We always catch good there

I fished for a bit last Saturday before the SC tourney, water was running like a b-eoch and looked like Yoo-Hoo ...

That said, I'll be back out there Saturday morning

We fished south of nibletts a week or two ago and caught pretty good
