Default what's up with the sacs?

fished all week in the basin, not a sacalait. caught plenty bream, goggleeye, and a bunch of bass. nobody i am talking too is catching any sacs either. what's up?

even the old farts who go every day are only scratching out a few. i'm talking benoit landing area, not outside the basin.

after Isadore i drove thru miles of dead sacs/bream/bass, but they are comming back.

I don't think they ever fully recovered around the Lafayette area since Katrina honestly. Either that or there are just that many more people targeting them and hurting population. I don't fish for them hardly ever but my dad does and I used to go with him every weekend. He doesn't catch them like he used to for sure. Bass are good though, the size has definitely increased since that big flood a few years ago.
