Default Landing on near lake Fausse pointe

Is anyone familiar with the landing that is just north east of the bottom large part of lake Fausse point on the inside of the levee?
Looking to launch there and want to make sure it's accessible..

Default Lake

Are you talking about the ramp at Lake Dautrieve? It is a decent landing but it is pretty steep, better have good parking brakes.

I think that you are referring to Sandy Cove landing, which is about 3 miles south of the entrance to lake fausse point state park. It launches into the GA cut and provides access to mama's pond, Gravenberg and other locations. It is a good launch used heavily by commercial fishermen.

That is the old Ruiz landing. I haven't used it since they opened Sandy Cove (1960's). I don't think that the landing is serviceable but I may be wrong.

halfway between ruiz landing and charenton is a gravel landing for the lake. it's called grand avollie cove boat landing.

it is tricky at best. don't go in the center of it, there is a big hole that will swallow your axle.
