The Roux (Cooking/BBQ/Recipes) What good is a cajun site without a cooking and recipe forum?

Smile OMG Shrimps

So I really don't have a "recipe", but what I did was melt 2 sticks of butter, add
about 1/2 cup brown sugar
4 Tbs of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire
1 cup of ketchup
1/4 cup honey

simmer in small sauce pan

cut bacon in half

cook half done (slightly brown)

wrap med - large shrimp with bacon
(about three pounds, but enough sauce for more)

in large disposable roaster place shrimp

sprinkle with Tony's (I like a lot)

cover with all the sauce

broil until shrimp are done and bacon is good and crisp

this is killer with ranch dressing!!! and beer

I don't have a name for this, but round here we call'em GONE !! enjoy and let me know how you like'em

I think you'll like it. It's kinda like a sweet bb-q glaze, but you can add red pepper if you want it hot. This was a recipe my aunt from Alexandria sent me. I just modified it a little....
