Default 9/27/14 Tougher fishing today

Day 2 with our Inolect crew today was a lot different than day 1. The idea was to head back to the honey hole and smash the reds like yesterday. The reds had different plans. With a few drum and a red in the K2 we had to go on the search. Not much happening around as the tide was rolling which made it tough to keep our cracked crab on the bottom. We decided to switch gears and take a peak at some trout even with the high winds. We hit two spots with the first having the guys catching every cast under the birds. A lot of throwbacks but the guys were having a great time. The flock would work then stop, then start up again so we hung around in the area until they completely stopped. We then hit a reef and found mainly keepers which was nice to see. Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad with a 1/4oz Golden Eye jig head worked for the trout. Thanks Capt. Marty for setting up the trip.
