Default The Burns 6/24/2017

Fished 7am-2pm near Cocaine Lake with a friend. Caught 35 bass, kept 17 plus a few sunfish. The frog bite wasn't really happening so we burned through a few bags of Flukes.
The day started out nice and cloudy but went bluebird on us around 10:00.
The hyacinth is getting worse in the main canals. Still my favorite place to fish, though.

You can't tell from the map but this large deeper area had been completely choked with hyacinth. You may be familiar with it.

The higher South winds last week apparently blew it all out into the main canal. This area was completely clean of hyacinth the other day.
