You got a pic of this thing because jackplates are very common and you must have one worth seeing

We fished white oak thus afternoon also... We caught 2 keepers and a few dinks... Two other keepers came of on the way to the boat... All on topwater and texas rigged red shad worm

Yep, its look likes a 15" setback and raised up . Its a longshaft on a short transom. I believe

The Guy that made that set up is from here. Can't remember who it was now, its on the jackplate, but I think his son or grandson runs it now. My stepbrother knows the Guy.

Well she's got some years on her. Been rebuilding her bit by bit this summer. Today was the first time all summer that something hasn't gone wrong. Had the starter rebuilt, replaced half the fuel system, and had to get the prop fixed cause I spun it last Sunday.

Lmao, if you call that luck, then yeah. Just trying to get her running good again so me and PawPaw can have a few more fishing trips. Want to get him on some bass again like we used to catch when I was little. He's 88 so he can't exactly get all that work done himself, so I've taken it on, and the boat is "mine" as he puts it.

X1000 on that one. He's been a grandfather / father / fishing buddy / best friend. When we lived down the road from them, I was always there.
