Drawer 3287, Lake Charles, LA. 70602-3287 Phone: (337) 721-3540 Wharf Closure Date of Notification: October 24, 2012 Facility Name: Calcasieu Point Landing Facility Address: 3955 Henry Pugh Boulevard Lake Charles, LA. 70605 Project Name: Calcasieu Point Landing Phase II – B Restroom, Pavilion and Amphitheater Project Summary: This project consists of the construction of a new restroom (930 s.f.), sewer treatment system, open air pavilion (1200 s.f.), amphitheater/deck (4200 s.f.), shade cloths and other site upgrades (hand rails, sidewalks, fencing, benches, trash cans, etc…) Area of Closure: The fishing wharf and grassy area west of the boat launch and approximately 420 feet of fishing bank south of the Fishing wharf will be closed while heavy equipment is present due to the obvious safety risks. The fishing bank south of the construction zone will remain open. Phase II upgraded to an already great parish boat launch.
